Hi! I’m Lexi.

I use words to solve problems when design can’t.

My Approach

If too many words are needed, let’s refine the design. If that doesn’t solve our issue, does the workflow make sense?

Mentorship + Scalability

I leverage 1:1 mentorship with designers to identify systemic friction points, turning recurring questions into high-impact documentation and governance frameworks that empower the entire org.

Iterative

I treat content as a design primitive. By applying an iterative, UX-first approach, I ensure that language and layout evolve in lockstep, reducing cognitive load and ensuring the final product is as functional as it is intuitive.

Cross-Collaborative

I speak 'Developer.' I bridge the gap between design intent and back-end feasibility, ensuring content choices are architecturally sound and that documentation serves as a reliable 'source of truth' for both designers and engineers

UX Writing Competency

1:20 designer to writer ratio

Identified the need for and scaled a UX Writing competency, becoming the source of truth for 20 designers and over 30 dev teams.

Problem: Inconsistent messaging, copy, and tone. User feedback saying errors were unhelpful.

Solution: Created a slack channel with all designers and became writing consultant for the team, as well as final approver, which has been active for 2 years.
